Geographical Location:

The delegation of Essouassi belongs to the central Sahel region. This region is considered a bridge linking the north of the country to its south, which has allowed it, throughout ancient and modern times, to play a connecting role between the south and the north on the one hand, and between the eastern Tunisian coast and the western region adjacent to the Algerian border on the other hand.
